Since 1949, Billion have been producing hydraulic machines and are well known for their knowledge and accuracy in hydraulics. For a few years now, Billion started to propose hybrid machines in order to reduce energy consumption and increase machine productivity. Hybrid meant adding electrical screw drive on the injection unit and a converter on hydraulic pump but keeping the hydraulic force on clamping. Taking advantage of these experiences, Billion designed a full electric machine called SELECT. Accurate, reliable, silent, reactive, the range is now available from 50 to 600 Tonnes.
